Live music by Pianist, Natalie Sherer: A multifaceted musician, Natalie R. Sherer thrives as a classical pianist and soprano, and these facets naturally intersect in her work as a vocal coach. She is a frequent recitalist, performs regularly in concerts and masterclasses, and enjoys working with musicians in vocal coaching sessions, recordings, lessons, and competitions. Ms. Sherer is a staff pianist at Roosevelt University and DePaul University School of Music and teaches piano at Merit School of Music. In addition, she performs and coordinates events for Credo Music and is the pianist for the trio “Artful Song.” Ms. Sherer is currently a Vocal Chamber Music Fellow of the Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago. Natalie will play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Just So You Know, You're Pretty Much The Most Amazing Person I've Ever Met: We present this idea in the spirit of the season. Think of someone you met during your time at Columbia. It could be someone who had the greatest influence on your career, your life, or even someone you met just once but have always remembered. This person does not have to be anyone special, but they should in some way be special to you. Please feel free to write down your memory and bring it to the party. The story voted "favorite" by blind balloting wins the Grand Prize.
Your Traditional Holiday Food Potluck: Please bring an appetizer, main course, dessert or beverage you traditionally make to celebrate the holidays. We will also provide food and beverages.
